Flooded Cave is one of the 2 maps that was added in version 1.4(Fight or Flight). It takes setting in a flooding cave, although no water is rising.
Its speculated that map was either inspired by Cave Story or The Sunken Sea although it was confirmed by Vluuu that it was just a map he made.
Trivia
- Despite not being a reference to anything the cave story music can still play on this map during building time
- There was a glitch that could allow you to make "boats", it was simply placing a pillar underwater below building barrier
